FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  1. All payments for the Ghana Summer Hangout 2023 can be made securely via PayPal using a credit/debit card. Zelle, Cashapp, and Venmo are also available with no fees. If you would like to pay via any specific method not mentioned above, simply contact us to discuss it.

  2. Group rates are available for 8 persons and above. Just contact us for details.

  3. All visitors to Ghana must be in possession of a valid passport or legal travel documents.

  4. All visitors entering Ghana must have valid Entry Visas or Permits. Nationals of ECOWAS are exempted. Citizens of the following countries are also exempted, Jamaica, Kenya, Lesotho, Malawi, Singapore, Tanzania, Trinidad and Tobago, and Uganda.

  5. HOLDERS OF DIPLOMATIC, SERVICE OR OFFICIAL PASSPORTS of the following countries are also exempted from entry visa requirement into Ghana.
    Brazil, Cuba, Germany, Iran, Namibia, China, South Africa, Sudan, Hungary, India, Equatorial Guinea, Morocco.

  6. You are responsible for securing your own Ghana Visa. However, we can provide Visa assistance only upon request.

  7. We can also assist you in obtaining a visa on arrival (for a fee), if you do not want to go through the hustle of the visa application process.

  8. You are responsible for purchasing your own flight ticket to and from Ghana. However, we can provide you with some referrals to a few travel agencies that can assist.

  9. All travelers above nine (9) months old coming into Ghana are required to have been vaccinated against Malaria/Fever at least Ten (10) days from the proposed date of departure. NB: Your Medical Provider can provide you with this, and it’s covered by most medical insurance.

  10. Covid-19 Non-vaccinated arrivals to Ghana must present a negative PCR test, no older than 48 hours. Vaccinated arrivals are exempted.

  11. A yellow fever card (proof of yellow fever shot) is also required. Your medical provider can easily provide you also and it’s covered by most insurance. Please ask for any medication(s) you may require during your doctor’s visit. 
    NB: You may be required to get the yellow fever vaccine at the Airport, If you arrive without proof of the yellow fever shot.
